After Rajinikanth, Vijay and Vikram, actress Shriya Saran now has an offer to pair up with Surya! The actor who is currently working for Ayan directed by KV Anand, will start his K.S Ravikumar film with Nayanthara for producer Udayanidhi Stalin from the end of this month. After that he is planning to do a film with Hari titled Singam, in the second half of the year. It is Surya’s home production, and Shriya is very excited to do the film, which will be a Diwali release.

After 27 years Sathyaraj has finally agreed to do another Telugu film. He had worked in the late 70’s as villain in many Telugu films notably with Shobhan Babu and Suman. Now he is going back to Tollywood and will play dad to Gopichand in the film. The actor, whose Pollachi Mappillai is ready for release, says he is doing a Telugu film after many years as it was a script he couldn’t refuse. “I might be playing only a dad’s role in it, but it is very important and my actions take the movie forward,” says the actor, whose film with Thankar Bachan along with Madhavan is likely to be shelved. When Tamannaah decided to feature in the remake of Jab We Met, playing Kareena Kapoor’s role, one of the most heated discussions in Kollywood circles were if she would do the famous lip-lock scene that involved Bebo and her one-time boyfriend Shahid Kapur. But the actress has vehemently refused that and said she would never star in a bikini or do an onscreen liplock for any movie. But now the grapevine is abuzz that the actress has told Kannan the director of the Tamil version Raja Rani , that she is a professional and can deal with such a scene if the script demands it.
