Kanthaswamy to Spanish and Italian

Kanthaswamy directed by Susi Ganesan starring Vikram is a film that is sure to enthrall Vikram’s fans. It is made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu which is expected to have all the necessary ingredients to make a complete entertainer.

This film has gained its fame during the inauguration by presenting an electronic invitation costing around 15,000 rupees, which is the most expensive invitation in Indian film Industry.

Stunt

Stunt scenes are the highlight of this film. Massive set was erected in Prasad studios costing one crore rupees where a fast paced action scene was shot for seventeen days. It is considered to be on par with any of such sequence in Hollywood films.

An action sequence was shot in Theni corn field during nights with the help of gigantic balloon lights.

Kanthswamy produced by Kalaipuli S. Dhanu is expected to break records of some of the biggest Tamil film’s production cost.

The audio launch is planned next month. The film will hit cinemas on April 14.
For the premiere, the Kanthaswamy team plans to travel to Italy, Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. The film is expected to have something for everyone

Apart from other Indian languages, Kanthaswamy will be dubbed into Spanish and Italian. Its satellite broadcast rights have been sold for Rs.4.5 crore, and distribution rights in Kerala alone for Rs.2 crore.

Surya's next venture Aadhavan opposite

Successful director K.S. Ravi Kumar moved on to his debut with Suriya titled “Aadhavan”, after the completion of ‘Jaggubhai’ starring Sarath kumar and Shriya. The movie will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, grandson of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, under the banner Red Giant movies who produced Vijay’s ‘Kuruvi’.

Surya who is already committed with ‘Ayan’ opposite Tamanna is set to complete the movie. Ayan is expected to release this month.



Nayanthara is the leading lady in Aadhavan. She is busy with the Malayalam movie ‘Body guard’ starring Dileep and directed by Siddique. She will be back again with the big project as soon as the red card ban against her by the ‘Tamil film producers council’ ends.

Vadivelu is doing an prominent role in Aadhavan which will make the film fun filled. The music will be done by Harris Jayaraj who has already given musical hits in Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan .The story is by R.S. Ramesh Khanna who is the comedian who works as an assistant with K.S.Ravi Kumar. The movie is expected to be a musical action adventure.

The film will be co produced by M. Senbhaga Murthy and R. Arjun Dorai. The cinematography is by Ganesh and the Art Direction is by Rajeevan. Editing will be done by Don Max, and the stunts are by Kanal Kannan who recently made his debut as an hero in ‘Sattru Mun Kidaitha Thagaval’ opposite Bharathi.

After the completion of this movie Surya’s next project will be ‘Mugamudi’ by Mysskin. The movie is expected to be produced by UTV and talks are also going on with Sun Pictures.

Kamal prefers to go with Mohanlal

Audience of south Indian cinema can enjoy the histrionics of their two favourite stars Kamal Hasan and Mohan Lal together for the first time on silver screen in the coming movie 'Thalaivan Irukkindran (The Leader is There)'.

The film which is a remake of the critically acclaimed Bollywood flick 'A Wednesday' will feature the Malayalam actor Mohan Lal and icon of the Tamil filmdom, Kamal Hasan as the lead characters.

The Tamil actor, who has bagged the copyright of the Neeraj Pandey who directed the movie, is preparing for acting alongside the Malayalam star after suspending his directorial venture 'Marmayogi' sources in the film industry said.

The Bollywood movie is based on the tale of cat and mouse race between a police official (played by Anupam Kher) and the protagonist, a common man (played by Nasiruddin Shah), who takes law in his hand to fight terrorism.

Sources, however remained tight-lipped about who will play which role. Earlier, it was learnt that another top Malayalam star Mamootty was likely to star alongside Hassan. But sources said Mohanlal, who has already played a character of a strict police official in Ram Gopal Verma's Bollywood film 'Company', could be the final choice.
